About

ARADIA is not plus size.

It is an affordable luxury footwear brand for women wearing sizes UK 8–11, designed with the same care, craft, and aesthetic consideration afforded to standard sizing.

This is footwear that values proportion, balance, and timelessness — created to be worn, lived in, and loved.

ARADIA was founded by Fashion Director and Stylist Aradia Crockett, whose career has been shaped by a refined minimalist eye and a deep understanding of modern dressing.

Her great-great-grandfather, Sir James Crockett, founded Crockett & Jones in Northamptonshire, laying the foundations for one of Britain’s most esteemed gentlemen’s shoemakers. Celebrated for uncompromising craftsmanship, the house went on to produce boots for the British Army and for Sir Ernest Shackleton’s historic Antarctic expeditions—footwear engineered to withstand the harshest conditions imaginable.

As a size 9 herself, Aradia experienced firsthand the industry’s failure to cater to women with larger feet — where design, quality, and elegance often stop short. What began as a personal frustration evolved into a clear vision: to redefine footwear for a customer consistently overlooked.

Produced in small batches at a family-run factory in Portugal, ARADIA embraces a considered approach to craftsmanship, prioritising minimal waste and mindful production without compromising on quality.

We hope you finally feel included.
